Why lambskin rather than cowhide

Lambskin is thinner, softer and lighter than cowhide, and it drapes rather than holding a rigid shape. On a biker jacket that would be a weakness. On a blazer it is exactly what you want. Fit

Blazer fit is about the shoulder and the chest. Take your usual jacket size for wear over a shirt. Lambskin has slightly more give than cowhide but it is still leather and there is no real stretch. Note that this piece runs XS to XL rather than up to 3XL like most of the range, so check availability in your size before planning around it.

Care

Condition twice a year, thinly, with a colourless product. Lambskin absorbs conditioner faster than cowhide so use less than you would on a heavier jacket. Hang it on a broad shaped hanger. A blazer in soft leather deforms at the shoulder faster than a structured jacket, because there is nothing inside holding the shape.
