Real Leather Jackets for Men and Women, Made By Us

We are a factory that sells direct, not a shop that buys in. Every jacket here is cut and stitched on our own production floor in real hide rather than coated fabric, and it reaches you without an importer or a distributor taking a margin on the way. We have been making outerwear since 2013. For most of that time our jackets carried other companies’ labels. This is our own.

What We Make

Leather jackets are the core of it. Biker and moto cuts with an asymmetric zip, cafe racers with a snap tab collar, bombers with rib knit trims, truckers, blazers, aviators with shearling collars and long line trench coats. In lambskin for anything slim or draped, cowhide for anything you intend to wear hard, and goatskin where a jacket needs to be light and tough at once.

Alongside those we cut down filled parkas for real winter, and a small run of wool and cotton pieces. Everything comes in XXS to 3XL, and we cut made to measure on any leather piece when nothing standard fits properly.

Why Buy Direct From the Factory

The price is the jacket, not the supply chain

A leather jacket that reaches a shop floor has usually passed through an exporter, an importer and a distributor, and each one adds a margin. Buying from the people who made it removes all three. That is the entire reason a jacket of this construction costs what it does here rather than four times as much.

We can tell you exactly what the hide is

Ask us what a jacket is made from and you will get a straight answer: full grain cowhide, aniline lambskin, pebbled goatskin. A seller who can only say genuine leather is telling you something too, because in the leather trade genuine leather is a specific grade and it sits third from the top, below full grain and top grain.

If nothing fits, we cut one that does

We make the jackets, so made to measure is a production instruction rather than an alteration done afterwards. Send us your chest, shoulder, sleeve and preferred length and we will confirm the specification before anything is cut. The size chart has the standard measurements first, in case one of them already works.

Since 2013. We spent years supplying other brands before we put our own name on anything. That is the reason the specifications on this site are as detailed as they are. We are used to being asked by buyers who know what to ask.

What a Real Leather Jacket Should Cost

A real leather jacket bought direct from a manufacturer usually costs between 100 and 300 US dollars. Below roughly 80 dollars you are almost certainly buying bonded leather or polyurethane, which peels within a season and cannot be repaired. Above roughly 500 you are usually paying for a brand name and the distribution behind it rather than a better hide.

Price What you are actually getting
Under $80 Usually bonded leather or polyurethane. Peels within a season
$100 to $300 Real lambskin, cowhide or goatskin from a direct seller
$300 to $600 Better hardware and finishing, or a designer label
Over $600 Almost entirely brand value and retail markup

Our range sits in the second band because we are the manufacturer. There is more detail on hides, grades and how to spot a fake in the mens leather jackets and womens leather jackets guides.

Everything you need to know about JJacket

Yes. Every item described as leather on this site is real animal hide, and the product page names the specific type: lambskin, sheepskin, cowhide or goatskin. We do not describe coated or synthetic material as leather anywhere. Our parkas and a small number of wool and cotton pieces are labelled as what they are.

Yes. We have run our own production since 2013 and spent most of that time manufacturing for other brands before selling under our own name. Every jacket on this site is cut and stitched on our floor rather than bought in and relabelled.

XXS to 3XL across the range, and we cut made to measure on any leather piece. Our size chart lists both the finished garment chest and the body chest each size is cut to fit, so you can check either number rather than guessing which one a chart means.

A well made leather jacket lasts ten to fifteen years with basic care, and a heavy cowhide or shearling piece can outlast that comfortably. Condition it twice a year, never dry it with heat, and store it on a broad hanger rather than sealed in plastic.

Made by us in our own factory since 2013. Sized XXS to 3XL, with made to measure on every leather piece. Questions about fit before you order are welcome and usually save a return.
