We Have Been Making Leather Jackets Since 2013. You Just Have Not Been Buying Them From Us.
For almost the entire past decade, JJacket leather jackets have been making their way into U.S. customers’ hands wearing some other name tag. We were that producer who cut and sewed men’s and women’s coats and jackets sold through retailers operating on Walmart, Amazon and eBay. The products made it to consumers. Reviews were left by them. Our name was never anywhere on them.
This has all changed now. The same company operates this website, selling directly, for the wholesale price we used to be offered.
How This Started
The JJacket brand emerged in 2013, specializing in leather jackets and outerwear production. Limited selection, direct sales – that is the usual first attempt to start selling online.
But in 2015, things started to look quite differently. The people who used to buy from us came back with bigger orders, but now they were no longer buying to keep the clothes for themselves. They wanted to resell the products. And selling to them became our core activity instead of website business.
For all following years, that’s how it went. Manufacturing of leather jackets for men and women, and shipment of the product to our partners in the US marketplaces under different brands for different prices. The same cutting tables.
What Ten Years of Supplying Other Sellers Taught Us
A bad jacket costs a supplier more than it costs a retailer
When a retailer ships a bad jacket, they get a one-star review and the jacket back. When a supplier ships a bad batch, they lose their account, and the account was worth one hundred jackets per month.
This is a much more severe feedback system than most brands will ever experience, and this formed how we worked. Our buyers tested our products before we ever sent anything out to customers. They measured them. They ripped the seams. They sent them back. Ten years of having our products scrutinized by experts is a far superior quality education than any brand narrative we can tell.
Most of what you pay for a leather jacket is not the leather
We know how much our jackets cost to manufacture because we make them. And we observed how much the same jackets were sold for after passing the route of importer, distributor and brand.
This difference is not slight. The leather jacket produced on the manufacturing line will have gained two or three margins by the time it reaches the customer. No extra stitching or skin quality or hardware is added to these margins. Additional cost is added to these margins.
Selling directly eliminates these margins. This is the entire pricing strategy, and it is neither a sale nor a discount. This is what happens when the manufacturer and the seller are one.
Why Quality and Price Are the Same Conversation
There are plenty of brands out there who will say that you cannot have it both ways. And in our experience, they are right, because what they sell is basically stock jackets and they are competing on margins. Lower the price and you lower the cost in some other area; thinner leather, cheaper lining, a zipper that will break after one season.
But when you have control of production process, the formula is different. It means that we do not have to protect distributors’ or importers’ margins, so we can afford to have both good quality and reasonable prices. We save the costs elsewhere, not on the jackets.
And here is the most important thing to us, which we are going to say openly: if the only way to reduce the cost is to use low-quality leather, then better charge the additional ten bucks.
What We Check Before a Jacket Ships
Every order is inspected by hand before it is packed. Our team looks at:
- The hide. Consistent grain, no thin patches, no filler across panels. Real leather varies in grain and shade, and we let it, but variation and defect are different things.
- Stitch density and seam finish. Straight lines, locked ends, no skipped stitches at the stress points — armholes, shoulder seams, pocket corners.
- Zips run the full length cleanly, both directions, without catching. Studs and snaps are set flat and secure.
- Lining and interior finishing. Lining sits flat without pulling, and interior seams are finished rather than left raw.
- Measurements against the size chart. Chest, shoulder, sleeve and length checked against the published spec, not eyeballed.
Anything that fails goes back to the floor. It does not get sold as a second and it does not get shipped hoping nobody notices. You can check our published measurements yourself on the size chart before you order.
How We Ship, and Why It Matters to the Price
Most orders leave our facility in Dubai and travel direct to you. That adds days to transit compared with a jacket sitting in a US warehouse — standard delivery runs 7 to 10 business days after handling — and we are upfront about that on the shipping policy page.
What you get in exchange is the price. Holding US inventory means renting space, tying up capital and pricing the jacket to cover both. Shipping direct from where the jackets are made does not. We would rather pass that on than shave a week off delivery and add thirty dollars to the ticket.
Duties and import taxes are prepaid before your parcel leaves us. There is no customs bill waiting at your door.
Where We Stand on Getting It Wrong
Buying a leather jacket online is a gamble on fit, and we would rather absorb that than argue about it. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return, refunds are issued within 10 business days of the item passing inspection, and we do not charge restocking fees. What We Are Doing Next
The catalogue is being rebuilt rather than dumped online all at once. Men’s and women’s leather jackets first, then the wider outerwear range. We would rather add ten pieces we can stand behind than a hundred we cannot.

Most orders ship from our facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, direct to customers across the United States. Duties and import taxes are prepaid before dispatch, so there is nothing to pay when the parcel arrives.
