Beige Wool Blend Shirt Jacket

It is a warm neutral, which means it sits beautifully against cream, white, brown, olive and rust, and it looks muddy against black and cool greys. The most reliable pairing is beige over white or cream with dark denim. The one to avoid is beige with grey, where the two neutrals cancel each other and the whole outfit looks unresolved rather than intentional.

Cut like a shirt, which means the shoulder sits at your natural shoulder point rather than dropped. Take your usual size to wear it over a tee or a shirt. It runs from XXS to 3XL and works on men and women, which is genuinely unusual and worth stating on the page. Because the cut is straight rather than shaped, sizing is about the chest and the shoulder only.

Care

Wool blend with a viscose lining should not go through a washing machine. The two fabrics behave differently when wet and the lining will end up pulling against the shell. Spot clean, brush it down after wearing, and use a dry cleaner once or twice a season. Store it clean at the end of winter, because moths go for the residue on worn wool rather than clean fibre.
