A 180gsm fleece feels thin in the shop and looks worse every month after that, going baggy at the cuffs and thin at the elbows. The difference is invisible in a product photograph, which is why almost nobody publishes the number. We should publish ours. It is one of the few specifications in this category that a customer can actually use to compare two hoodies, and stating it makes every competitor listing that omits it look evasive.

The brushed interior

The inside face of the fleece is brushed, which raises the fibres and creates the soft surface people associate with a good hoodie. It also traps a layer of air, which is where most of the warmth comes from rather than the thickness of the fabric itself. Brushing wears down over time and there is nothing to be done about it. Printing holds up if you treat it properly

Turn it inside out before washing. Wash cool. Never iron directly over the print. Do not tumble dry on high heat. Those four rules are the difference between a graphic that still looks right in three years and one that cracks and lifts inside a season. Almost all print failure people blame on quality is actually heat damage from a dryer.
