Fleece weight is the whole story with a hoodie
Hoodies are sold on print and bought on weight. A 240gsm fleece feels substantial, holds its shape through the shoulders and survives a hundred washes. A 180gsm fleece feels thin in the shop and looks worse every month after that, going baggy at the cuffs and thin at the elbows. The difference is invisible in a product photograph, which is why almost nobody publishes the number. We should publish ours. It is one of the few specifications in this category that a customer can actually use to compare two hoodies, and stating it makes every competitor listing that omits it look evasive. The brushed interior
The inside face of the fleece is brushed, which raises the fibres and creates the soft surface people associate with a good hoodie. It also traps a layer of air, which is where most of the warmth comes from rather than the thickness of the fabric itself. Brushing wears down over time and there is nothing to be done about it. What accelerates it is fabric softener and high heat, both of which flatten the pile. Wash cool and skip the softener and the interior stays soft for years instead of months.Fit and shrinkage
Cut regular through the body with room to move. Take your usual size. Cotton blend fleece shrinks slightly on first wash even when it is preshrunk, mostly in the body length rather than the width. If you are between sizes and you tumble dry, take the larger. If you air dry, take your normal size.Printing holds up if you treat it properly
Turn it inside out before washing. Wash cool. Never iron directly over the print. Do not tumble dry on high heat. Those four rules are the difference between a graphic that still looks right in three years and one that cracks and lifts inside a season. Almost all print failure people blame on quality is actually heat damage from a dryer.Specification table

[Publish the gsm figure here once confirmed.] Weight is the single most useful specification on a hoodie and almost no seller states it, so publishing yours makes the listing more useful than every competitor page that leaves it out.
Slightly on the first wash, mostly in body length rather than width, even where the fabric is preshrunk. If you tumble dry and sit between sizes, take the larger one. If you air dry, your normal size is right.
Turn it inside out, wash cool, never iron over the print and keep it out of a hot dryer. Most print failure blamed on quality is heat damage from tumble drying rather than a fault in the printing.
The interior face of the fleece is brushed, which lifts the fibres and traps a layer of air. That trapped air is where most of the warmth comes from. Fabric softener and high heat flatten the pile, so avoid both.
[Confirm this before publishing.] If the design is original to JJacket, say so plainly here, because original artwork is a real differentiator in this category and worth stating.
