What We Make
Leather jackets are the core of it. Biker and moto cuts with an asymmetric zip, cafe racers with a snap tab collar, bombers with rib knit trims, truckers, blazers, aviators with shearling collars and long line trench coats. In lambskin for anything slim or draped, cowhide for anything you intend to wear hard, and goatskin where a jacket needs to be light and tough at once.
Alongside those we cut down filled parkas for real winter, and a small run of wool and cotton pieces. Everything comes in XXS to 3XL, and we cut made to measure on any leather piece when nothing standard fits properly.
Why Buy Direct From the Factory
The price is the jacket, not the supply chain
A leather jacket that reaches a shop floor has usually passed through an exporter, an importer and a distributor, and each one adds a margin. Buying from the people who made it removes all three. That is the entire reason a jacket of this construction costs what it does here rather than four times as much.
We can tell you exactly what the hide is
Ask us what a jacket is made from and you will get a straight answer: full grain cowhide, aniline lambskin, pebbled goatskin. A seller who can only say genuine leather is telling you something too, because in the leather trade genuine leather is a specific grade and it sits third from the top, below full grain and top grain.
If nothing fits, we cut one that does
We make the jackets, so made to measure is a production instruction rather than an alteration done afterwards. Send us your chest, shoulder, sleeve and preferred length and we will confirm the specification before anything is cut. The size chart has the standard measurements first, in case one of them already works.
What a Real Leather Jacket Should Cost
A real leather jacket bought direct from a manufacturer usually costs between 100 and 300 US dollars. Below roughly 80 dollars you are almost certainly buying bonded leather or polyurethane, which peels within a season and cannot be repaired. Above roughly 500 you are usually paying for a brand name and the distribution behind it rather than a better hide.
| Price | What you are actually getting |
|---|---|
| Under $80 | Usually bonded leather or polyurethane. Peels within a season |
| $100 to $300 | Real lambskin, cowhide or goatskin from a direct seller |
| $300 to $600 | Better hardware and finishing, or a designer label |
| Over $600 | Almost entirely brand value and retail markup |
Our range sits in the second band because we are the manufacturer. There is more detail on hides, grades and how to spot a fake in the mens leather jackets and womens leather jackets guides.
